Lo began her journey in movement at the young age of three. She began studying forms of dance, gymnastics, and played various sports. As an adolescent, she trained as a ballroom dancer, which is when she first discovered the benefits of mindful movement via Pilates when rehabilitating a back injury. While working through her injury she discovered an innate connection with her own body, and she fell in love with movement as a healing practice.
She specializes in teaching embodied movement as a way of life, in a way that is fun, relatable, and easy to understand. Lo has an innate ability to facilitate an environment in which people can connect to their mind, body, and soul through movement; allowing her clients to see and feel an overall self transformation that keeps them coming back for more.
In 2007, alongside her university studies, Lo completed her first comprehensive program through Power Pilates. She started teaching at the age of 19. Since then, she has deepened her personal practice and developed her craft as instructor; by completing various certifications in Pilates, Yoga, and energy healing. Her passion for movement as an expressive art form and as a grounding self practice ultimately defined her career as an instructor.
Finding her vocation of service through movement, she aspires to continue to make her mark in the fitness community through embodiment practices. Known for her inspirational teaching methods, Lo’s ultimate goal is to assist as many individuals as possible, along their journey to discovering and developing their authentic self through movement.
